Sunday Session 39

It's that time again, your asking what time ? It's Sunday Session time with the lovely Thea The idea behind Sunday Session is you grab a song (or 2 or more) usually Thea posts an oldie and a newbie (but I love more the oldie songs then newies so hence why I post more newbies). You then link you songs up on your blog to Thea's blog by pressing the Sunday Session button to the right of the screen.

This week all my songs are from movies that I love which means I also love the songs I've posted

The first song is from a movie but I loved the way it was done on Spicks and Specks by the gang plus by the guy singing it the original Riff Raff from the movie Richard O'Brien I urge you to stay till the end of the clip when there is a surprise from Adam Hills. I would love to know what you think of Adam Hills and the surprise he does.

Hope you like the movie & song I loved it and can watch it over & over again

Now I must say with this one I didn't like the actor in it but I did love the movie and song

The last movie is around 31 years old now but still love it.

Photos

Today I want to share some pictures with you my lovely readers that our family has taken with our Canon EOS 550D DSLR Camera, all the pictures were taken with a 55-250 mm lens.

Have a lot more pictures to share with our lovely readers but for now please let us present you with the below pictures which were taken at Mt Coot-tha  Brisbane it’s one of many popular outlooks based in Queensland.

These pictures were taken on a smoky day when our fire fighters were doing some back burning before our spring and summer seasons start causing the smoke to drift across Brisbane, hoping to get back up there on a really clear day to take some more pictues.

There will be more pictures posted but next time this blog might link with other blogs that post pictures. Hope you enjoy the pictures, would love to hear your comments on them so please feel free to comment if you would like.

Click on the pictures themselves to get a better view of them.

Sunday Session 38

Sunday Sessions with the sweet Thea   The idea behind Sunday Session is you grab a song (or 2 or more) usually Thea posts an oldie and a newbie (but I love more the oldie songs then newies so hence why I post more newbies). You then link you songs up on your blog to Thea's blog by pressing the Sunday Session button to the right of the screen.

As some of you may know during the week I did a blog post called The Snip If you haven't read it and would like to just click the link I'll wait ....waiting .....waiting .....waiting ....welcome back now that got me to thinking what songs men would NOT like to hear while getting The Snip

Most men said the following two songs, which I must own up to that I love listening to as I was growing up never understanding the meaning of them till later on in life in my teenage years.

The First song has been disabled so you will need to click the link to listen to it

The Snip

There is a question in my mind that I haven’t been able to silence lately after reading some blogs & following some tweets on twitter and that is Why do Wives/Girlfriends ask their Husband’s/Boyfriend’s to get the snip and don’t get the snip themselves?

Do some Wives/Girlfriends feel that because they carried the child (ren) for 9 months in their womb then it’s only fair their Husband/Boyfriend gets the cut?

My thoughts on this question is ok ladies have carried the child for 9 months but during them 9 months the husband/boyfriend has put up with our strange food cravings at all times of day and night, have put up with us rolling around in bed trying to get comfortable, have heard us whinge about feeling like a beached whale or that. Some husbands/boyfriends have even had the morning sickness and birth pains for their wives.

Also I have seen some marriages last well into when the child(ren) are in their teens and the dissolve for whatever reason yet the partner has gone off and had the big snip meaning that his chances of starting a family with someone new are all that much smaller. While the wife/girlfriend if she chooses a new partner and they want a family they can have one as she didn’t get the snip.

Personally I would never ask my partner to get the cut unless I was prepared to get it done as well, as family is joint effort then as far as I’m concerned the snip should be a joint effort as well.

I know there are sometimes other medical reasons for getting the snip but for now I just want to understand why it’s only one partner that gets the snip and not both and yes I’m aware that money plays a big part in the answer but if you are both thinking about the snip why can’t the money be saved up for both to get it done?

Yes I’m aware this blog is not written like a writer or journalist but at the moment I’m neither of these things so you will have to take this blog the way it is.

Can’t wait till I hear my readers thoughts and please remember everyone has their own thoughts on this subject and also has feelings so healthy debates will be published nasty ones will not be.
